Meet the Innovators Behind Dtex

Christy Wyatt


Christy is Chief Executive Officer of Dtex Systems and serves as a member of the board.  Most recently Christy was Chairman, CEO and President of Good Technology the global leader in mobile security across the Global 2000. During her tenure at Good she led the company through significant transformation, and aggressive growth, and Good’s subsequent acquisition by Blackberry in 2015. Prior to Good, Christy has held leadership positions across both consumer and enterprise at Citigroup, Motorola, Apple, Palm and Sun.  In 2015 Christy was named one of Inc. Magazines Top 50 Women Entrepreneurs in America. Also in 2015, Christy was named CEO of the Year by the Information Security Global Excellence Awards. She was named one of the top 100 Women Leaders in STEM in 2012 and named one of Fierce Wireless  “Most Influential Women in Wireless” several years in a row.

Christy serves as a member of the board for Centrify, a leader in Identity and Access Management, as well as Abilities United, non-profit organization focused on enriching the lives of individuals and families with developmental disabilities.  Originally a software engineer, Christy has lived in Silicon Valley for almost 20 years.  She is married and has four children. Mohan Koo

Co-Founder & CTO

As Co-Founder and CTO, Mohan’s passion for enabling transparency and security in the enterprise, along with his commitment to driving customer success, has enabled Dtex to be recognized as one of Gartner’s Cool Vendors in 2016.

With over 20 years of Global experience, Mohan is widely recognized as a thought leader in the Cyber Security industry. With particular interest in the intersection between surveillance and privacy, Mohan led Dtex to become the first ever security vendor to implement ‘Privacy by Design’ in the development of the Dtex technology platform.

Mohan is continually studying the global enterprise security landscape, with a passion for driving ‘People-centric Security’ practices and positioning the end user as the ultimate key to enterprise security.

Bahman Mahbod


Bahman is a successful senior executive and a proven leader with over twenty years of experience in creating, scaling, and managing world-class organizations, both at start-ups and large enterprises. He possesses a unique blend of operational acumen and deep technical expertise spanning across Cyber Security, Networking, Mobile, Applications, Cloud and Platform Architecture.

Most recently, Bahman was a founding member, SVP WW Engineering and Security Research and corporate officer at FireEye. There, he led the global product engineering and security research teams until his departure in late 2014 to pursue other interests. His leadership and expertise led to the development of FireEye’s highly differentiated suite of products and services that ultimately led to its successful IPO valued at $8B in 2013.

John Richardson

VP of Finance

John is a seasoned Silicon Valley finance professional, who has spent the last 10 years leading security software companies as they scale from the start-up phase through the growth stage and as they expand their footprint both domestically and internationally. Most notably, Fortify Software, acquired by HP in 2010, Alienvault, and Sygate Technologies, acquired by Symantec in 2005.  He has also been an SEC reporting manager and is a CPA, having started his career at PWC in San Jose.

An avid mountain biker, John lives in San Jose with his wife and three kids, enjoys the outdoors, watching his kids participate in sports, and spending summers on Cape Cod.

Rajan Koo

VP of Customer Engineering

Raj manages Dtex installations, services, and POCs in top enterprises across the globe. As a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 15 years of engineering experience, Raj has been awarded patents for his work in R&D and has led technical reviews for multi-million dollar industrial automation projects.

Raj thrives on living outside the box, but has the focus to deliver projects from concept to product. As a manager, he believes it is the individual, not the product, that ultimately makes a company successful. He rewards those who take ownership of a problem and who openly share their knowledge.

Gail Boddy

VP of Human Resources

Gail is a dedicated human resources leader with more then 15 years of experience in the data security field.  She has worked with several high profile technology companies including AlienVault and HP.  Most notably, Gail was Vice President of Human Resources at ArcSight, where she worked with business leaders over the course of eight years to help bring ArcSight to a publicly traded company, and then to a $1.7B acquisition by HP.  ArcSight was recognized as a Bay Area “Best Place to Work” several times.  Gail is a Team Manager with Boys Team Charity, Los Gatos chapter and a sustaining member of the National Charity League, Heritage Oaks chapter.  

Victor Chen

Senior Director of Legal and Business Strategy

Victor serves as Senior Director of Legal and Business Strategy, overseeing the legal operations at Dtex.   He has over fifteen years of experience working at SaaS and enterprise software companies in both legal and business roles. Most recently, he served as General Counsel for AlienVault. Prior to that, he led the legal departments at Hara Software (acquired by Verisae) as well as at ArcSoft where he grew out the company’s legal group in Asia. Victor holds a JD/MBA joint degree from Santa Clara University and an Economics degree from U.C. Berkeley.

Casie Abello

VP of Marketing

As VP of Marketing, Casie oversees global marketing for Dtex Systems. She is a seasoned Marketing leader who has spent the last 20 years creating amazing customer experiences, building successful organizations, driving market demand and fueling company growth. Casie began her career building revenue-generating corporate websites and high-performing marketing teams at companies like Oracle, Intuit, Salesforce.com and Good Technology. Most recently, Casie helped build and optimize a successful Corporate Marketing and Global Demand Center organization at FireEye.

Casie enjoys attending sporting events, concerts, outdoor activities and spending time with her family. She lives in Silicon Valley with her husband and three kids.
